I'm not absolutely certain, but I think the runner in the blue shirt here is Martin Lel, who went on to win the NYC Marathon this year! More marathon pics here (and in Flickr).
i like to watch the marine corps marathon downtown. its usually the weekend before halloween. many runners dress up, which makes it extra fun to cheer for them.
Lel had on a green shirt...unless he had time to change between the start and the finish line of course. Or, it's my brother.
