M minus 8 weeks

inching closer to the goal. my running club organized a few long training runs, the first of which was 20 miles this weekend, so i adjusted my training plan a bit to take advantage. took an extra rest day early in the week to try and heal the wonky knee, but made up the miles elsewhere during the week.

monday - rest
tuesday - rest (knee)
wednesday - 8mi
thursday - 8mi
friday - rest
saturday - 8mi
sunday - 20mi

mileage this week = 44
mileage this cycle = 338 (three hundred miles?! i think i need new shoes)

    According to Google maps, 338 miles is the distance between NYC and Richmond, VA. Wow!
